At Oak Lane, all of our amenities and activities are designed to provide residents with the special touches and interesting things to do that help make life a little better and provide a sense of home and hospitality.

We provide a number of great amenities at our facilities for the enjoyment and comfort of our residents. We understand that having access to little luxuries such as a beauty shop and whirlpool spa can be an important part of living a happy life.

Some of the amenities we provide include:

• Birthday parties
• Transportation for trips and shopping
• Cookouts and socials
• Secure courtyards for outdoor enjoyment and gardening
• Transportation for medical appointments
• Two (2) whirlpool spa baths; one accommodates recumbent residents
• Religious services

Activities

Oak Lane Wellness and Rehabilitation Center offers a wide range of activities for our residents to enjoy. We believe that helping residents to stay active contributes to their continued well-being.

Some of the activities we offer include:

• Exercise
• Bingo
• Rosary
• Movies & Popcorn
• Pokeno
• Crafts
• Music & Boudin
• Booray (Bourre)
• Trips such as Wal-Mart or the Casino

We also hold a number of socials that residents may attend. These include group socials such as birthday parties with a D.J. and cake for all the residents who have birthdays that month. We also offer men’s socials and women’s socials where the men or women decide what they want to eat and what they want to do – for example, a BBQ outside under the oak trees.
